White Glove Cleaners (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who is responsible for your data
White Glove Cleaners is the data controller for personal data collected through this website (wgcleaners.co.uk), WhatsApp, phone, email, and in the course of providing our services. Contact: hello@wgcleaners.co.uk.
2. What we collect
- Contact details – name, phone number, email address.
- Property details – address, postcode, property size, access arrangements (e.g. key safe codes), and any notes you give us about the clean.
- Booking and payment records – services booked, dates, prices, invoices and payment status. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers.
- Communications – messages you send via our contact and booking forms, WhatsApp, SMS, email or phone.
- Website data – limited technical data (such as pages visited and device type) via cookies and analytics, where you consent.

4. Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share it only with trusted processors who help us run the business: our booking/form provider, payment processor, accountancy software, and messaging platforms (including WhatsApp, operated by Meta – messages you send there are also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms). Our cleaners see only the details needed to complete your clean.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t become bookings – up to 12 months.
- Customer and booking records – 6 years after your last clean (for tax and legal purposes).
- Access details such as key safe codes – deleted promptly when you stop being a client or ask us to remove them.
6. Cookies
This site uses essential cookies to function and, with your consent, analytics cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the cookie banner and change your choice at any time in your browser settings.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email hello@wgcleaners.co.uk – we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Security
We protect your data with access controls, encrypted devices, and secure key-handling procedures. Access codes are stored separately from addresses wherever possible.
